How to rock this task:

  • Write the daily plan of action for Ideally 1 to 2 ventures to produce active income
  • Write the daily plan of action for the other 6 to 7 ventures to produce passive income

Today's Devotional:

We made are over half way through week 7! Amazing!!! This week we are focusing on saving and investing. When we are saving and investing, we should make sure that God is building our financial plans. If He is not building it, our building will be in vain (Psalm 127:1). God’s plan for us is much more valuable, than our own plans. That is why we should build on God’s plan.

God wants us to build a buffer for emergencies to allow us to be in a position to act like the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37. Also, God wants us to save for retirement and natural disaster just like Joseph in Genesis 41.

When we are debt free, we are in a better position to help others. We shouldn’t waste our time and efforts trying to control every aspect of our lives and trying to figure out if this thing or that thing will work out. We need wisdom to know what we can’t and cannot control. Some things we can’t control like nature and the weather.

If we wait for better opportunities, we may end up waiting forever. Seed can’t grow if it stays in the storage shed and is never sown. Our decisions to prepare should be motivated by wisdom and never fear. God doesn’t give us the spirit of fear, but the spirit of love, power and wise mind (2 Timothy 1:7). If we want to be wise, we need to take precautions and avoid danger by preparing for the unexpected (Proverbs 27:12). That’s why saving $5,000 is helpful. Nevertheless we can’t let our preparation cause us to forget to ask and trust God for our daily bread.

Today’s Prayer:

God, You are the creator of heavens and earth. You are the ultimate builder. You deserve all the praise, glory and honor. We need Your kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. God we want You to build our financial plans, because Your plan is much more valuable, than our own plans. Help us to save, be debt free. Help us to have the wisdom to know what we can’t and cannot control. Help us to sow our seeds in the spirit of love, power and wisdom. Help us to avoid danger by preparing for the unexpected. Help us to trust You to be our provider. Forgive our trespasses, sin and debt. As we forgive our debtors and those who trespassed and sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, power and glory. I come to You in Jesus name, Amen.
