Finding Strength in Faith Amidst Life's Challenges
Today, I embarked on a journey that deviated slightly from my norm. Although my day began with prayer, as it always does, distractions soon unfolded, pulling my focus away from that peaceful, centered start I cherish so much. It's peculiar how a slight shift in routine can ripple through our day, highlighting the profound impact of starting our mornings fully centered in our faith.
The day was fraught with challenges—professional obstacles, familial tensions, and an enveloping pressure that is seldom felt. These are the days our faith is truly tested, reminding us of the solace found in our spiritual practices.
In the midst of today's chaos, a song inspired by 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 became my beacon of peace. These verses remind us that, despite our external frailties, we possess a divine strength:
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are hard-pressed on...

I want to eat raw vegan (I preferred to say plant-based) for a few months to see if it will make me look younger, because I work 3rd shift I tend to be awake during the day & night, which has caused me to look older although I’ve always looked younger than my age.
The Lord introduced me to the Eat to Live plan and this plan has allowed me to lose over 100 pounds. I want to still use the guidelines of Eat to Live plan as I transition to eating mostly raw plant-based foods.
Eating a pound of leafy greens every day is the goal for me and Tassili's Raw Reality Café have some amazing kale salads.
I searched the internet and found “Copycat Punany Kale Wrap by ALEX FINCH”
The salad I made was completely inspired by the copycat punany kale wrap recipe except that I made some exception considering the nutritarian way of eating and I used the recipe to make a salad instead of a wrap.
The salad...

Prayer is the key to getting access to God, our doctor. God delights when we seek Him in Prayer (Proverbs 15:8). God listens to the prayers of the righteous. The key is not to worry, but to make our request known to God by prayer and continual petitions with thanksgiving so God can keep our hearts and our minds (Philippians 4:6-7). Let us replace worrying with worship and thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2). Since God hears us when we pray and provides us what we ask according to His will (1 John 5:14-15).
It’s incredible how our thinking affects our health. Proverbs 17:22 mentions how a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit brings fatigue. There is another ailment that doesn’t seem to affect us, but it affects us like poison – it is a sin. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but we can have eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
In Day 87, we discussed how Jesus gives us Hope, and Hope is like...

Today we will discuss how God the Son is our medicine. God, our Father, provided "Jesus" the Son of God to be our medicine. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Jesus came to heal. Matthew 4:23-25 illustrates how Jesus healed the multitude. Matthew 8:1-3 demonstrates how Jesus healed the leper. Matthew 8:5-10 shows how Jesus interceded for the healing of a soldier's servant. Matthew 9:27-31 illustrates how Jesus healed the blind. Matthew 9:32-33 demonstrates how Jesus healed the demon-possessed. Mark 7:31-37 illustrates how Jesus healed the deaf. John 5:1-15 shows how Jesus healed the disabled. So it is easy to see how Jesus came to cure all diseases and forgive. Through Christ, we are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus heals us with His redeeming blood. When Jesus died and rose from the dead, He illustrated to us how much He cares...

This week we will focus on the various ways we can receive healing. Today we will discuss how God the Father is medicine for our sickness and diseases. One of the main reasons why God the Father is medicine for our body, soul, and spirit, because He keeps all His promises, and that gives us hope (Deuteronomy 7:9). Fortunately for us, hope makes our heart glad (Psalm 16:9). Proverbs 17:22 says a cheerful heart is good medicine.
The second reason God the Father is medicine. He has given us the 1st line of defense against disease with green leafy vegetables and herbs (Genesis 1:12). God said herbs are excellent for treating as well as preventing diseases (Revelation 22:2). Moreover, God said fruit and leaves are great for healing (Ezekiel 47:10). So if anyone is sick, seek God 1st and then send them to herb shop.
Most importantly, God is our healer (Exodus 15:26). God heals us and forgives us (Psalms 103:3). All we need to do is cry out to God for help,...
